HOUSING
THE DORMITORY

Welcome to your new home away from home! This building was once an old school dormitory that fell into disuse, and while it isn’t unsanitary, it does have ancient grime in the crevices of the old tile flooring in the entranceway, and all of the common room furniture is clearly well-worn. The first floor consists primarily of shared rooms: the kitchen, fully stocked with battered but still usable pots, pans, utensils, and appliances for everyone, a laundry room with washing and drying machines, a recreational room currently consisting of a couch and some scattered chairs and beanbags, and a large meeting room with folding tables and chairs that can be rearranged for meals, parties, or general gatherings.

Rooms can be accessed via stairs or (slow, creaky) elevator. Characters will find that their rooms have already been assigned, with a cute little handmade name card indicating who is rooming where - and with who else. Each room is quite small, with just enough room for two beds, two desks, and two closets. Each room gets an attached bathroom with a toilet, sink, and mirror, but that's it; there is a communal shower room on each floor that characters will need to share, with five booths consisting of a tiny room to undress/redress and store any items, and the actual standing shower room beyond that. Each door in the booth is lockable from the inside, so at least you don't have to worry about someone walking in on accident?

Basic necessities like dish/laundry detergent, hand/body/dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush/toothpaste and cleaning supplies are all, well, supplied! ...They’re just very cheap, so if you want anything higher quality, you’ll need to take on some commissions sooner rather than later.

The dorm also has a working wifi that even has a decent speed, though that’s probably thanks to your Resident Assistant (RA). Speaking of which, she can be found manning the little office at the dorm entrance from about 10AM to 6PM every day, should players want to speak to her in person.

To claim a room, please fill out the following form and post it as a reply to this entry. We will try to give everyone their first option but option #2 is there as backup. If you'd like us to RNG a room for you, just let us know and we will get back to you with your result.
