ACTIVITY CHECK

SUBMISSION INFO

Activity Check consists of 20 comments between 2-3 threads. Furthermore, we will be asking for social link submissions.

Social link submissions are essentially a short writeup; please choose, at minimum, 2 pieces of CR in which your character has experienced some sort of shift in. By "shift", we mean anything as small as "my character now likes hanging out with A" to something more dramatic like "my character trusts A with their life". Negative shifts are also welcome! Just as long as something in your chosen pieces of CR has changed.

For September:

• If you submit 2 social link write ups, you will receive a reward from our character regains pool.
  
• If you submit 3+ social link write ups, you will receive either a Magic Ointment (forms a barrier that reflects all magic spells once) or a Physical Ointment (forms a barrier that reflects all physical attacks once).

Keep writeups to no more than 4 sentences.

AC is due on the last day of each month. We will not be issuing official reminders, and those who fail to make AC will be swept.

Character: Fray Myste

Argenti: "I've only had Argenti for less than a month, but if anything happens to him, I'll kill everyone in this game and then myself." -Fray, probably. Saying that he's bonded with Argenti in such a short time is underselling it; Fray legitimately trusts Argenti more than most people he's had the opportunity to meet, and he's very fond of the yapper knight. He even told Argenti the truth about who he actually is!

Aerith: As far as first meetings go, this one was absolutely a joy. Aerith gently bullied Fray into arts and crafts time, and from there the two of them ended up getting along remarkably well, even touching on a few of their issues (without actually getting into said issues, as this was only a first meeting). They definitely have potential to go in some interesting directions!

Sayaka: Fray's roommate is one of the ones who showed up here after something truly horrific happened to her, so he's trying to keep an eye on her as best he can. He finds her situation fascinating and wants to learn more about her, so he doesn't have any qualms about asking probing questions just to see how she reacts to them.

1. Sunset Muffler - A stylishly patterned cotton scarf sure to keep you warm. If you wear it over your face at night, nobody will get a good idea of what you look like, right?


2. A goldfish bowl - It's empty. Maybe you should buy some goldfish for it?

Argenti: Fray trusted Argenti before, but now he's actually dating him after one very gay confrontation in Argenti's palace. So that's important! We're almost at a rank 10 here, stay tuned.

Sayaka: Fray is so unbelievably proud of Sayaka with how far she's come and her desire to be a better person and to help others. She wants to follow in his footsteps, could you ask for a better compliment?

Maika: An exceptional help during Argenti's palace, Maika also is someone who can get away with bullying Fray. He genuinely likes her a lot so he puts up with it, but also, he will never recover...

Izou: Another one who helped tremendously during Argenti's palace, Izou is someone Fray has grown much fonder of after their initial disaster encounter. He never really disliked Izou, but he's definitely grown fonder of him now. Please continue to beat some sense into people who need it.

McGillis: Someone Fray is still trying to figure out how he feels about. McGillis is a complicated and interesting individual, but someone who is very set in his ways; they're a lot alike in that regard, and it's kind of surprising they haven't clashed yet.

1. Portrait of Breogan - A bust sculpture that's too weathered to make out any details about the person depicted. The only indication their identity is the carved name "BREOGAN".


2. Magic Ointment - One time use item. Forms a barrier that reflects all magic attacks once.

Fray's Arc: More or less starting from scratch as a being made of the Warrior of Light's negative emotions and all the things he couldn't/wouldn't say, Fray spent a lot of time searching for answers. He didn't understand why he'd been chosen for this instead of V'rhas and he couldn't wrap his head around why or how his negative emotions could possibly be used to form bonds to assist the Goddess in her time of need.

And yet he managed to make friends despite it; at first accidentally, just by repeatedly talking with others and slowly starting to trust in them, but later on intentionally, by listening to their troubles and doing what he could do help. "If V'rhas isn't here, I'll play his part" became Fray's mantra, which really only fed into his whole identity issues over who he is, and whether he's anything more than just V'rhas's shadow.

This came to a head in his palace, where his emotions and identity crisis were on full display for all to see - he posed as V'rhas and the perfect "Dark Knight" before finally taking his own true form - and yet his fear that they wouldn't reach out for him was unfounded. Despite knowing what he was, they continued to fight for him, and they proved themselves in his eyes; they're all ready for whatever happens next.

The Fallen calls to you...

"You are no longer a shadow of V'rahas...as you've stepped into the light."

Schneider has been granted the following skill:

ME, MYSELF, AND I: Fray can dip into his shadow and maneuver the battlefield in his shadowy form. He'll be hard to spot by allies and enemies alike, but he can take enemies off-guard by suddenly emerging from his shadow. Then, he can plunge Deathbringer into the ground and unleash a giant shockwave that deals heavy multi-target electric damage. All enemies hit will be inflicted with Dizzy.

Additionally, you will receive an outfit upgrade upon summoning your Persona! The design is entirely up to you and is purely cosmetic.

This will come into play effective 10/26.
