ACTIVITY CHECK

SUBMISSION INFO

Activity Check consists of 20 comments between 2-3 threads. Furthermore, we will be asking for social link submissions.

Social link submissions are essentially a short writeup; please choose, at minimum, 2 pieces of CR in which your character has experienced some sort of shift in. By "shift", we mean anything as small as "my character now likes hanging out with A" to something more dramatic like "my character trusts A with their life". Negative shifts are also welcome! Just as long as something in your chosen pieces of CR has changed.

For September:

• If you submit 2 social link write ups, you will receive a reward from our character regains pool.
  
• If you submit 3+ social link write ups, you will receive either a Magic Ointment (forms a barrier that reflects all magic spells once) or a Physical Ointment (forms a barrier that reflects all physical attacks once).

Keep writeups to no more than 4 sentences.

AC is due on the last day of each month. We will not be issuing official reminders, and those who fail to make AC will be swept.

Shalem, who at first meeting Haruka thought was just... as average as a guy with pointy ears could be, but since meeting it turns out that hey! This guy has some fucking problems and might be a victim of circumstance, so unfortunately Haruka finds himself worrying about him a lot more than he would without knowing he was trained into what he is. So now Shalem is stuck in an agreement to form a connection with Haruka!

Soujuurou, who (unfortunately?) got stuck sharing a room with Haruka, and who... is another person raised to do horrible things. How does this keep happening. He finds Soujuurou's... Soujuurouness to be incredibly frustrating, but he's trying to be more patient with him. He has brain damage. He also doesn't like how perceptive Soujuurou is for how simple he seems, so that's fun!

Eli is a moody bitch that Haruka keeps pissing off unintentionally, but he's not... really holding it against Eli? Haruka is well aware he's not been putting his best foot forward, so he's not mad at Eli for being dramatic. He does think he's dumb, though.

Yoon is someone who Haruka wants to make sure has a good time here, after all that went down. He doesn't think Yoon should worry so much, so he's going to try to be the one protecting Yoon and keep him from having to hurt anyone else as best as he can.

CHECKING IN!!!

Haruka's Arc: When Haruka first got here, he was taken aback by, well. All this isekai shit being real? He's from a very normal canon, after all, and things like gods and monsters and personas and all of that were only things he's encountered in fiction, so it was pretty overwhelming—and when overwhelmed, he falls back to being his overreactive, rude little self.

It didn't help that one of the first things he experienced was Jordi's palace, which felt like such an invasion of privacy and was totally bewildering, but then... at the end, Jordi died, and Haruka felt so much guilt and was really shaken by Jordi's death. It kind of made him feel adrift, and the thought of bonding with all of these people who seemed Totally Insane seemed impossible.

He did start opening up, eventually, and started showing some people the sides of him that weren't just blunt and rude, started caring for the people here and wanting to help them no matter what. He saw the pressure Yoon put on himself and wanted to help relieve it, he saw how little Soujuurou knew about the world and why that was and started trying to be more patient with him, he met Shalem and saw that even people from worlds that seemed so unreal could have things in common with him... So, he started kind of understanding this whole idea of making connections with people and how it would be helpful.

Then he had a Palace of his own, but surprisingly! to him! people actually gave a shit about him and wanted to have Haruka around! Crazy, man. Crazy shit. He even got a boyfriend?? Who wants to go back to Tokyo with him?? And he knows he'll have a lot of explaining to do but he's more content with his life and sure of himself than he was before, and feels more comfortable being vulnerable.

But he's also probably more comfortable with violence and death than he would be if he hadn't shown up here, so like. There's that, too. Whoops.

Schneider has been granted the following skill:

MY OWN UTOPIA: Haruka can summon a ring of fire around the arena, and takes on the role of a conductor. (No friendly fire enabled for this one, sorry.) He commands his flames to spit out fireballs that represent things he's throwing away (like Kujou). The fireballs can hit multiple enemies, and while they're distracted, he can hop on a fire-infused boar and run at them to slice them all with his katana, dealing heavy multi-target fire damage. This also lowers the defense of all enemies hit.

Additionally, you will receive an outfit upgrade upon summoning your Persona! The design is entirely up to you and is purely cosmetic.

This will come into play effective 10/26.
